Wow this was perfect timing as I’ve been having studies on how to grow deeper in faith this week in my journal! I’ve been doubting myself this week in something God has definitely chosen me to walk into confidently because I’m his daughter and he has chosen me! (John 15:16) I appreciate today’s devotion because it will give me direction in what to pray for this morning and also I love how it asks why is it important to have a steadfast mind in our faith & obedience! We walk by faith not by sight if we walked by sight and looked at the waves like Peter did while walking on water we take our eyes off the thing that keeps us floating! The moment Peter focused on the situation around him, fear and doubt entered his heart, causing him to question what God had already enabled him to do. He is greater than our human challenges and desires us to fully trust in His power and faithfulness! It shows him who we’re loyal to when we put our trust in him! Don't be Loyal to your emotions, fears or what you see in tough times!!

n

nA real life example I love swimming and floating on my back because it feels free and relaxing, and I can stay afloat easily when I’m not overthinking. However, when I suddenly focus on where I am like realizing I’m in the ocean or the deep end, I begin to waver and struggle to stay afloat. This shows how focusing too much on the situation can disrupt what once felt natural, just like faith wavers when we focus on circumstances instead of trust.

5. Cultivate a "different spirit" (Numbers 14:24).

n• Caleb's spirit was different- wholehearted, courageous, and steadfast

nl: What areas can you be more wholehearted and courageous in?

n

nThis part Fileted me and really gave a clear look of where I’m not meeting the call. I gotta do things wholeheartedly if I want to have a different spirit. I know 2 things I need to change rn. Thank you God!
