I love how is says slaves submit yourself to your masters not to those who are good but also those who are harshly. This caught my attention because while being a slave in Christ we can forget that it is God who established these authorities as said in Romans 13:1. Jesus suffered from human authority but his actions led to us being disciples today because he submitted to human authority. I believe Jesus Christ is the perfect example for submitting to God and also authority. I could grow to understand submission as a strength by seeing it as an alignment or a calling to Gods blessing in my life and others around me. As said in job 22:21 we will have prosperity in our lives —it will come from our deep respect for God!
