Getting through challenging times this is something we all need! Life is not perfect and we all have faced them. I got to reflect a lot about how I faced challenges in the world before I was a disciple and man did they take me out most of the time. I’m so grateful now that my faith itself is a gift from God. Just as Abraham was made righteous because he trusted God we know faith comes before actions! Good neds to see that we trust him to hold our hands so he can keep his promises! I believe challenges are just Gods way of strengthening us closer to his heart. I choose to trust you God instead of worrying! I choose obedience over convenience! It helps you respond to life in a radical way and it’s weird but man he’s a trustworthy God we should honor that!

What a great devotional to start off the new year with! Tying Hebrews 10:19-23 to our quiet times to see the importance of them was great, it helped me to think deeper into why quiet times are so important. One area that I’m going to go after this year is communication, increasing it with loved ones and being more timely with those I’m already in communication with. It was great to think about what are the areas of my life that need to be pruned and that is one that I see needs to be! Excited to go after it!
